Heidi Currier - Owner
Hi, My name is Heidi. I have been instructing fitness classes for 6 years. I am happily married to Charlie and together we have 4 children: Macey, Abbie, Isaac and Benjamin. Before becoming the owner of LiveWell in April of 2018, I first attended classes and then became an instructor. It was when my youngest child turned 2, I decided it was time to get my self back in shape. I was invited to a Zumba class and discovered a love of dancing! I began to take classes at LiveWell in September of 2012 and became an instructor in March of 2013. I became owner 5 years later. I now teach several classes, including Zumba, Strong by Zumba, Zumba Toning, TurboKick, PiYo, P90x, Power Hour and Step Power Hour and Barre. I LOVE being an instructor, I love fitness, I love the people who walk through the doors of LiveWell each day.
Ingrid Sutherland - Instructor
Ingrid is a Mapleton native, where she currently resides with her husband of over a decade, Taylor, and their two young children, Isaiah and Quinn. Ingrid is a creative. When she’s not wiping off sticky faces or stepping on legos, she comes alive through writing, reading, painting, drawing and decorating. She also takes every opportunity to get outside, enjoying all the sun and fresh air she can find. Ingrid dove into her own personal wholeness journey 6 years ago. She has actively been pursuing health and wellness of the body, mind and spirit ever since. Ingrid has faithfully engaged in many different forms of group exercise; from personal training to boot camp style classes to outdoor group adventure. She has discovered personally how moving your body regularly in a safe and positive community can transform your inner self. She has a passion to walk with and encourage others to uncover their deep potential and live life to the fullest! Ingrid is brand new to the LiveWell family but is excited and eager to learn, laugh and sweat like crazy with all who attend her classes!
Renee Chalou - Instructor
For 10 years, Renée Chalou has been passionate about helping people reach their fitness and wellness goals. Renée loves people, her community and making a positive impact in any way possible. She loves cardio dancing, Yoga by candle light, snowshoeing, her Goldendoodle and every minute of raising her amazing 13 year old son.
Michelle Michaud - Instructor
Michelle has been a regular to 5 am classes for over 5 years; she knows and loves LiveWell! She resides in Mapleton with her husband and 2 children. Michelle has a full time job with DFAS and is always on the go with her active children! Dance, Power Hour, Taboxing, Ladders, Circuits, and other custom designed classes are what she will bring to any early morning exercise enthusiast. Michelle loves the group fitness setting at LiveWell and will ensure everyone gets a great workout. Join Michelle on Mondays and Wednesdays bright and early to start your day right.
Julie French - Massage Therapist
Julie French has been interested in Wellness since college. Whether it is sharing yoga, meditation or massage, Julie believes that all ages can contribute to their own physical and emotional health. She leads yoga classes from toddlers to seniors and teaches for a variety of organizations like Hope and Justice Project, Bicycle Coalition of Maine, Upward Bound and Aroostook Teen Leadership. She personally practices yoga and meditation as well as spending ample time in nature....biking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, paddle-boarding, etc. The rest of her energy is focused on her dog, her partner, her son and as much travel that fits in between the spaces.
Angel Hebert - Instructor
We are excited to introduce Angel Hebert, a new instructor to our LiveWell team! Angel has been a regular to 5am classes for the past couple years and is looking forward to bringing a dance fit class to 5am. Angel is a clinical dietitian at Northern Light AR Gould and enjoys educating her patients on how to live healthier by getting adequate nutrition and exercise. She lives in Presque Isle with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in the great outdoors and loves to hunt, fish, ski and take family bike rides.
Chelsea Buck - Instructor
Chelsea Buck is a wife and mother of three young, active boys. She began a passion for fitness as a LiveWell United instructor in 2014-2016. After the birth of her first son she decided to take a break from LiveWell to focus on her family. Even though she wasn't teaching classes anymore, her fitness and health were still very important to her. To say she is extremely excited to be on the team again is a huge understatement! She is eager to share some of her own experiences to help guide people in their own journey and really looking forward to learning more from the classes and the LiveWell family!
